S/V Rascal is a cruiser’s dream with many recent upgrades for the smart cruiser. Rascal is the 2003 model with the “Comfort Package” including the addition of a staysail (for storm sailing) and a stainless-steel arch (with 500-watt solar panels.) Rascal is the same Amel Super Maramu 2000 of the famous round-the-world cruisers S/V Delos, S/V Aquarius and S/V BeBe.
Of course, there’s a reason Amel Super Maramus can be found crossing oceans and in anchorages the world over. The Super Maramu was designed specifically for comfortable, safe, long distance, blue-water cruising. Over the past year alone, Rascal has cruised the Eastern Caribbean, Columbia, Panama, The Cayman Islands, Mexico, Key West, and St Augustine, Florida. In July 2018, Rascal was hauled, sanded, and painted with 3+ coats of Seahawk Biocop. Her topsides were polished and waxed, and she had a complete service of her c-drive, bow thruster, and prop. A Spurs Line Cutter was added. Rascal is currently in St. Augustine, FL.
